Michigan Meadows Development Breaks Ground in Grand Rapids

On June 26, Ghafari took part in the groundbreaking of a $19 million multifamily development in the Michigan Oaks neighborhood of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Known as Michigan Meadows, the townhome development will provide 87 two- and three-bedroom units across 23 buildings on a 19-acre site.

Units will range in size from 1,264 to 2,100 SF with basements. The site will contain designated green spaces, protected wetlands, and a pet park, which will be incorporated into the design following completion of construction in 2020.

Ghafari is the designer on the project. Orion Construction is the general contractor, and Orion Real Estate Solutions is the developer and owner.
