Ghafari Celebrates Grand Opening of PACE Senior Daycare Center

On March 28, Ghafari team members, including Chairman Yousif B. Ghafari, joined U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell and others in celebrating the grand opening of a new PACE Southeast Michigan facility in Dearborn. PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) offers comprehensive medical and social services to community-dwelling elderly individuals – most of whom are dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid benefits – as an alternative to nursing home placement.

Ghafari provided architecture and engineering services for the interior fit-out of an existing 23,000 SF facility. The renovated senior daycare center houses a number of exam and observation rooms, a physical therapy area, a series of quiet and noisy community spaces, administrative areas, and ample storage space.
