Q+A with Divya Kurup, HR / Office Manager (Vadodara, India)
How do you describe your job to people outside of the industry?
To a layperson who is not in this industry, I describe my job as an HR / Office Manager who is responsible for the Vadodara office’s recruitment process and management of day-to-day operations. This includes planning and implementing policies, procedures, and ensuring that the workplace is a healthy and safe environment.
Why did you decide to become an HR / Office Manager?
I was recruited for this role in 2019. Being an introverted person, it was a big decision for me to accept it but the urge to take on new challenges pulled me in. Our management assured me of their full support and encouraged me to accept it. To learn the tricks of the trade, I enrolled in a Post Diploma Graduate HR Manager’s course and successfully completed it.

Exciting things!!! Hmm…the list is very long. During my time in Ghafari, we have collectively managed many tasks and events that individually would not be possible to accomplish. I have organized annual holiday events, picnic trips, luncheons, birthday parties, etc. with the help of my colleagues.
