Dearborn City Hall Artspace Lofts Honored with CREW Detroit Special Impact Award

The Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network’s Detroit chapter recently honored the Dearborn City Hall Artspace Lofts project at their annual Impact Awards luncheon on September 13. The Artspace Lofts, a collaboration between Ghafari and Neumann / Smith Architecture, received CREW’s Special Impact Award.

The Artspace Lofts, an adaptive reuse of Dearborn’s historic City Hall building, is a mixed-use art campus featuring residential and commercial gathering space for artists, their families, and art enthusiasts throughout Metro Detroit. The former municipal building was originally constructed in the 1920s and was not intended to accommodate modern technology or support live-in residence. The facility’s renovation adds 53 residential units and 20,000 square feet of commercial space.
