To support the rapidly expanding electric vehicle market in Eastern Georgia, Hwashin is expanding its U.S. presence by building a new manufacturing facility in the area to manufacture automotive parts for electric vehicles.
The new greenfield campus encompasses various buildings that will support the warehousing, fabrication, painting, and logistics for automotive parts for the electric vehicle market. Manufactured parts are delivered to the shipping area, and then moved to the eCoat area of the facility, where they are dipped in a series of large tanks with solutions that coat and protect the parts prior to assembly. In assembly, the parts are combined via numerous weld cells and then either stored in the large warehouse or shipped immediately to OEMs in the Southeast region of the United States.
Ghafari provided full architectural, electrical, and mechanical bridging documents to Dunn Building Company as part of a design-build delivery as well as full architectural and HVAC final design documents for construction and permitting for the project.
The development of this facility will allow Hwashin to better serve current and prospective OEMs located in Georgia.
