Overview

A direct response to a growing demand for the “downtown experience” in housing, 601 Bond is a 16-story apartment building that offers views of the Grand River and the Grand Rapids cityscape. In addition to 202 residential units, 601 Bond houses five stories of parking, 4,000 SF of retail / restaurant space, and amenities such as a rooftop deck, fitness center and lounge, and a pet grooming station.

A new beacon that respectfully nods to the past.

Our design recalls the past while applying modern treatments to create a building that is both distinguished and contemporary. The exterior is comprised of red-blended brick, an intentional nod to nearby turn-of-the-century buildings.

The project’s location is vital to attracting tenants due to its proximity to major healthcare systems and lifestyle amenities. At 16 stories, each with cast-in-place, post-tension concrete floors, it is among the tallest buildings in Grand Rapids.
