Grand Rapids Business Journal: Financial Firm Opens Larger Office Downtown

Grand Rapids Business Journal recently profiled Grand Wealth Management’s new office space in downtown Grand Rapids. Ghafari provided architecture and interior design services for the 5,400 SF space on the eighth floor of the Bridgewater Building, more than double the size of the wealth management firm’s previous office.

The completed office space includes a large entry lobby, three conference rooms, five private offices, a break area, work room, private phone booth, server / storage room, 950 SF open air patio, six open-plan employee workspaces, and four collaborative employee and client workspaces. The open office space was designed with additional room for expansion, and the collaborative workspaces were designed to be used as offices as the team expands. In addition to a formal conference room, the space also provides a “living room-style” conference room that overlooks the Grand River and is equipped with a sofa, chairs, and coffee table, in an effort to put clients at ease and make money conversations more comfortable.

This new office space gives the Grand Wealth Management team a more collaborative work environment where they can comfortably grow their team.
