Applying his background in project management, architecture, and economics, Jim strives to understand his clients’ broader business goals and capital project objectives, and delivers solutions that help advance them. As Executive Vice President, he heads up our Chicago practice, leading office operations and managing new pursuits in the aviation, commercial, and industrial / manufacturing sectors. He also leads our Fort Worth and Sao Paulo-based teams and has served as a project director on some of our most complex projects in and outside of the U.S.

With experience that spans the globe, Jim is adept at managing multinational teams on projects with challenging technical requirements and aggressive schedules. Throughout a career of more than 25 years, he has developed a diverse portfolio encompassing a variety of project types, ranging from airport support facilities to large-scale manufacturing plants to R+D spaces.

Jim holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Indiana University. He is a longstanding member of the American Institute of Architects.
