With over 40 years of executive leadership, project management, and architectural experience, Angelo has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to technical excellence in project design and delivery. Angelo co-founded Ghafari’s Chicago office in 2004, and today is responsible for managing key client relationships and new pursuits in the aviation, commercial, education, government, and institutional sectors.

Angelo is widely recognized in the architectural community for his expertise in airport environments and facilities, having led large programs and complex projects at airports around the world. Prior to joining Ghafari, he headed the aviation practice of a national EAC firm and served as program director for the multi-billion dollar Chicago Airport System Capital Improvement and World Gateway Programs.

Angelo holds a Bachelor of Science in architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a longtime member of the American Institute of Architects and is affiliated with the Airports Council International – North America and the American Association of Airport Executives.
