John Deere recognized the growing demand for construction equipment in South America. To better serve this thriving market, they decided to construct a new manufacturing facility in Brazil that would produce backhoe loaders and four-wheel-drive loaders. We worked closely with Deere to design a high-performing facility that houses specialized manufacturing systems, complex industrial processes, and comfortable workspaces for their employees. Time was a critical factor and necessitated careful coordination between our team and the client’s throughout the duration of the project.
The new 27,000-square-meter facility is located on a 40-hectare site and includes 24,000 square meters of manufacturing space and 3,000 square meters of front office space for up to 400 employees. Our design accommodates a broad range of spaces and systems: manufacturing and assembly spaces, conveyor systems, paint systems, a warehouse storage area, wastewater treatment processes, relief stations, locker rooms, mechanical spaces, visitor and employee entrances, a product demonstration area, dealer training center, front office and factory offices, conference space, and other support spaces.
We applied a full range of services and strong project coordination to assure a smooth and efficient result and support our client’s goal to be up and running quickly. Designed to enhance performance, the new spaces facilitate employee productivity and comfort.
