Ghafari designed the expansion to Ryobi’s die casting facility to produce aluminum transmission cases. The expansion included areas such as melt shop, die and machine maintenance area, dross area, finishing shop,  die maintenance, and  offices. Ghafari also designed a new die casting facility that produces aluminum casting for transmission cases, housings, engine and structural parts. The new die casting facility was designed for 16 die casting machines of 1,500 and 2,270 metric tons.
