Ghafari provided design and engineering services for the renovation, expansion and modernization of the foundry. The program included the addition of a new impact mold building, pouring building, sand preparation building, tower, cooling building, core knockout, and new compressor and cooling water distribution facility. The new lines produce gray iron engine blocks at the rate of 220 per hour.
