This office renovation project moved GM's global headquarters to downtown Detroit, where it occupies 1.2 million sq. ft. of the Renaissance Center. The project required the complete renovation of the interior office space, supporting mechanical and electrical infrastructures, and a total transformation of new offices for the multiple divisions of GM. The project also required an update of the building systems, including security, fire alarm, data/communication and emergency power systems, as well as upgrades to 52 passenger and freight elevators.
