Ghafari provided engineering and design services for an expansion to the Romeo Engine Plant, which produces both cast iron and aluminum block engines and includes cubing lines, machining lines, head lines and assembly as well as hot test and support facilities. After completion of the detailed facility studies and program approvals, Ghafari was retained to do the detailed engineering and construction documents. The first phase of the program consisted of the addition of approximately 200,000 sq. ft. of new and renovated facilities.
