A seasoned project director, Jim believes in continuous improvement, learning and applying integrated delivery methods and new technologies that enable better communication, greater efficiency, and, ultimately, higher quality work.
With 30 years of industry experience, Jim has developed vast expertise in the aviation sector with a project portfolio that encompasses nearly all airport building types and systems, ranging from passenger terminals and baggage screening systems to airport traffic control towers and aircraft maintenance facilities. He has also managed a variety of government and institutional projects and brings a strong background in strict regulatory and agency approvals.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and also completed an architectural study abroad program in Versailles, France. He is a longtime member of the American Institute of Architects. A strong advocate of sustainable design, he is affiliated with the U.S. Green Building Council and contributed to the development of the Chicago Department of Aviation’s Sustainable Airport Manual.
